Baja Missions

Welcome to our Baja Missions Base website!

Victory Churches International is in the process of setting up a Missions Base in the Ensenada, Baja California Mexico area. This vision includes a local church plant, training center, orphanage and a short term missions, training and accommodations base.

We have not yet found a property for the missions base itself, but we want to get the information and excitment flowing now. We don't need land or buildings to start the work!

We have however, identified a property as a possible location for the new mission base. It is extremely important that we follow God's lead and purchase His chosen property. Please pray that we will be sensitive to His leading and buy the right place. View pics here, or video here.

Cindy and I are spending as much time as possible in Mexico but have yet to make the big move. We hope to be here full time for August at the lastest. Help usher us in with your prayers. "Usher us in" just brought an image to my mind of actually being greeted and taken by the elbow and ushered to our seats here in Mexico by your prayers. Thank you Lord!

Missions Ensenada

Known as the "Cinderella of the Pacific", Ensenada is located 70 miles south of the international border, a 90-minute drive from San Diego on the west coast of the Baja peninsula. Its warm Mediterranean climate, friendly atmosphere and accessibility by land, air, and sea have made Ensenada a favorite Baja tourist destination for many years, and it's the second most-visited port-of-call for major cruise lines and pleasure boats in Mexico

Being on the ocean really moderates the temperature here. Even a few miles inland on the Baja, the temperatures can go significantly higher than on the coast. So summer missions here are potentially more comfortable than inland destinations can be.

Ensenada's strategic location places it close enough to the US to have fairly easy access, yet far enough that we can still reach some areas that haven't been too Americanized. You will soon be able to fly your missions groups into the San Diego airport, rent vans, and drive to the Victory Baja Mission where your mission events are already organized. Thus reducing the planning and organization overhead on you and your local church. Here is an opportunity for every church to be enabled to have a 3rd world missions experience in Baja California Mexico, with minimal planning and experience needed.
