This was my third time in Ensenada on a missions trip. In the first trip we built a home with another organization and the last two missions were with Victory House Baja. Building a home is a definite blessing for the family that receives it, but I preferred the different missions opportunities that VHB provides for the team. You absolutely immerse yourself in both the culture and in meeting the needs of many people, not just one family. I am sure this will not be our last time here. Love it!

Victory House Baja offers an amazing opportunity to reach out to the poor and oppressed. The events are numerous, well organized and a blessing for all. This is an ideal place to develop your servant ministry and heart.

If you're looking for a place that will touch your heart and change your life - Victory House Baja is that place! A place with a purpose and a dream - to win souls to Christ! We came as a family and were challenged to change and adapt to the environment and culture. We fell in love with the people and this place. May God bless you abundantly in all you pursue for His names sake! Love in Christ

This missions base is very dynamic in it's ability to reach and serve the people of the Baja. The food is excellent and the mission teams are well cared for. The house has a beautiful view of Ensenada. I really enjoyed the relationships I made as well as the experiences that helped me grow in Christ.

This mission was awesome! I loved that we did something different every day and no two things were the same. It has been an amazing experience and was a really good first missions trip for me. Thank you Richard and Adriane for making this time so special. I has given me a whole new perspective. Thanks again!

I was privileged enough to go to VHB from February 2-8, 2011. I believe the opportunities I was given on that trip have changed me. My perspective on the reality of this world and the time I live in, make sense to me now. I have gained an understanding of the faith gift that I have received. I am a Christian! I have come to realize I am happy to be the one that God has made me to be, not the one the church wants me to be. Living my regular routine was not showing me what 7 days in Mexico taught me about faith in action, not just words. God has a mighty work on the move in Ensenada with Richard and his team! I was honoured to pick up garbage beside them and fellow Mexicans. I was freed while casting out demons in a rehab centre! I was challenged to worship God with more passion as I stood side by side bible college students giving their all in praise and worship. I was humbled by seeing an orphanage of 10 kids cleaner and more organized then my own home. I was edified by praying and praising with fellow believers whenever His Holy Spirit stirred. This ministry is changing lives in Mexico and Canada - because I know I will never be the same Christian I used to be before getting these opportunities. I thank God for Richard and the team in Ensenada, for their fearless surge to live the gospel and their challenge for me to do the same.

Wow I can't believe it is a month since Cross Eyed youth were at Victory House. It was so good to be back again and this time to be in the new mission house. Last time you were moving in to the house the day after we left to come back home but as we toured the house and prayed around the property I couldn't wait to get back and stay there. This time as we arrived I remembered a picture and word that the Lord had spoken to me 2 years earlier - that your house would be a beacon on the hill and the message would go out just like a beacon does the signal goes out in waves - as we stood at the Mexican flag this trip and looked up in the direction of your house it struck me that your house can be seen from there. I believe as you continue to reach your neighbours and the communities around you your impact will roll out even further. I can't wait to come back on our next trip. Being able to share my stories and pictures of how a Big God revealed himself as we fed people in the dump, poured out love at the rehab centre, painted a simple house and threw a fiesta for the neighbourhood has continued to impact me and the people around me. Even my co workers have been brought to tears. Once again I left a piece of my heart at Gabriel House as I hugged those kids tight and had the opportunity to sing over them.. how can you not be broken and forever changed by a trip like this. I can't wait to get back to see you guys again. Thanks for hosting us Richard and Cindy and Adriane and Johnny we still talk amongst our youth group about the fun things that happened that week. Love and Prayers Cheryl

This was by far the most heart impacting, life changing experience of my life! Thank you Lord for bringing down the barriers of my heart, even though I couldn't completely understand. I now stand undone and completely in love with the people of Mexico. I will return!
